British Library and Jack the Ripper!

I cannot believe what I saw at the British Library! Take a moment to pour your self a cup of coffee and sit back for this one!! Yesterday I decided to check out the British Library that was only two blocks from my hotel. It was free and I had some time on my hands. This should have been my first stop in London. I got to see one of the original Magna Carta documents from 1215!!! This is the document that helped formed our constitution

I could not take pictures, so I found these online

Handel's Messiah original score was open to "and He shall reign for ever ..... Hallelujah!

The Beatles Hard Days Night

The Beatles. Ticket to ride

Jane Austin's Diary from 1792

Elizabeth Browing How do I love thee let me count the ways... 1845

The original King James Bible from 1611 opened to the 23 Psalms

What an amazing morning to be able to see and read these original documents! WOW!!!! Is all I can say!!

Later I did a Jack the RIpper tour --- In the pouring rain!!! Walked about 20,000 steps --- Another Great day in London

Heading back to Dublin via Train/Ferry on Friday!!
